Policy for Opening Public Holidays:
With regard to Public Holidays … We maintain our commitment to our clients insofar as being here when they need and/or want us. We recognize that for some people a public holiday may be the only opportunity they have to come for treatment.
Therefore, on most Public Holidays clinic will be “Open by Appointment”. Specifically this means that we will be open – possibly/probably on reduced hours of availability – as long as there are appointments in the diary. Clinic will be open for 3 hrs minimum, but if there are no appointments clinic may close early.
Policy for Late Cancellation / Non-Attendance:
In this clinic we try very hard to provide treatment for you when it is most convenient for you, and making appointments ahead of time is always the best way to secure your time so that you don’t miss out. Of course there are times that are more popular than other times during the week, and we find ourselves very busy and even book out on occasion. During these times some people get turned away because we cannot fit them in. Therefore from the 1st of August 2009 we are forced to introduce a Late Cancellation/Non-Attendance Policy.
We request that you give us no less than 4 hours notice of your intention to cancel your appointment to enable us to offer the time to someone else.
Failure to provide this time will result in a $20.00 Late Cancellation Fee. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment that has not been cancelled will result in a $20.00 Non-Attendance Fee.
Policy for Late Arrival:
In this clinic we try to be fair to all our clients and keep prompt appointment times. If you are late, through no fault of this clinic, your total appointment fee will still be charged. We understand there are some extreme circumstances that are not under human control and we will make some exceptions for these extreme circumstances.
We request that you give notification if you know you’re going to be late for your appointment to enable us to offer a better solution to the problem.
We offer a reminder service by telephone, text message or e-mail. If you would like a reminder of your appointment the day before, just ask us when you make your booking and we will provide it for you.
